The Phenom 300 is a 7-8 passenger, single pilot twin turbofan light business jet developed by Embraer. The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer entered the business jet market with the highly acclaimed personal jet, the Phenom 100. The 100 was designed as an entry level jet and it quickly garnered a great reputation for its robust design, simple operation, and solid performance. The 300 was designed to go beyond the successes of the 100 and be much more than a stretch version of the entry level jet. Indeed, Phenom 300 was recognized in Flying Magazine’s Editors Choice award 2010: “Phenom delivers on every one of its guarantees and does it in high style.”
Embraer’s designers gave the Phenom 300 a longer fuselage, Pratt & Whitney PW 535-E turbofan engines, an all-new wing, powerful and increased fuel capacity. The jet has good speed, climbing performance, and range while maintaining great operating efficiencies. As with the Prodigy 100 aboard the Phenom 100, the highly intuitive Garmin Prodigy 300 flight deck is based on the Garmin G1000 and is described by its pilots as ‘brilliant’.
The interior design was conceived in a collaboration with BMW Designworks. The large, nicely placed windows and clean lines of the minimalist design give the feeling of a much larger space. Although the cabin is only 14 inches longer, the designers managed to create a larger lavatory, a larger galley, additional passenger seating, and more room throughout the entire cabin. The option of a side-facing divan offers even more comfort and layout flexibility.

The exterior baggage compartment can carry a combined weight of 529lbs. The useful payload is 6,495 lb (2,946 kg) with a maximum payload of 2,416lb (812kg). With full fuel load, the payload limit is reduced to 1,140lb (517kg).
Interior specifications are as follows:
The cabin length is 17 ft 2in, width is 5ft 1 in and height is 4ft 11in. The baggage compartment can hold 74 cubic feet. The 300 standard configuration is a six-place center club arrangement although optional plans allows for up to eleven passengers with single pilot operation. Optional seating includes additional cabin chairs, two-place divan, and passenger seating on the flightdeck and in the aft lavatory area.
The standard Phenom 300 features retractable tables and fully reclining executive seats that slide fore and aft and inboard toward the aisle to give passengers extra comfort and workspace as desired. The large windows provide plenty of natural light and the LED lighting is configured to enhance the roomy feel of the cabin. There is abundant storage cabinetry, a substantial galley and a full size lavatory which is separated from the cabin. The lavatory even has two full size windows; a feature not found in other light jets. Each executive seats has its own power outlet and control panel for lighting, temperature control and other amenities. These and other features were incorporated with the goal of making your trip as productive as it is comfortable.
