The Gulfstream G450 is a large-cabin, long-range business jet produced by Gulfstream Aerospace. It is a direct descendent of the GIV and the GIV-SP (special purpose) which was redesignated as the G400 in 2002. Gulfstream developed the G450 as a lengthened G400 with improved performance to formally replaced the G400 in 2004.
The G450 owes its increased range and improved performance to a few key design changes and use of new materials. A new wing design reduces drag while also allowing for increased fuel capacity. And although it was a slightly larger plane and capable of carrying more fuel than the GIV, its overall weight was reduced by use of graphite epoxy and Kevlar materials in the engine housing and parts of the cabin. The forward fuselage and large cockpit of the G450 is actually the same as the G550 and features the same advanced technology found on all other large-cabin Gulfstream aircraft. Of note, the same development team that was awarded the Robert J Collier Trophy for the GV also developed the G450.
The G450 is graced with a large cabin, a long range of 5000 nautical miles, and the same luxury comfort and award-winning design that characterize the G series. Gulfstream offers six standard cabin configurations on the G450 and countless custom configurations. Some designs accommodate up to 16 passengers quite comfortably including berthing for six. No matter the configuration, the living environment meets the needs of the most demanding missions. As with all Gulfstream large cabin jets, its large oval windows, 100 percent fresh air, and superb soundproofing ensure passengers arrive at their destination relaxed and refreshed. The Cabin Management system offers intuitive access to all amenities and connectivity needed to run your airborne office or simply relax with a variety of entertainment options.
Whether your work or leisure calls you across a continent or an ocean, the G450 will likely exceed your expectations in getting you there.

Internal specifications are as follows:
The G450 cabin length is 40ft 4in (12.29 m), height is 6ft 2in (1.88 m) and the width is 7ft 4in (2.24 m). The cabin has a number of configuration options to accommodate 6 to 19 passengers in executive seating. No matter what the configuration, the design team approach was that the cabin should resemble your office or home. For example, furniture elements positions exist independently and are not constrained by the traditional ledge running down the length of the cabin on most aircraft. Such a separated-furniture approach means that each zone is disconnected from the other and can be tailored to the owners and operators tastes and needs. Configurations often include a four-place club, a four-place conference/dining with table, and one or two full length divans that also serve as beds, and a variety of accompanying cabin furniture for entertainment, work, and storage.
The cabin features a full-sized well appointed rear lavatory with shower, a large galley, and a forward lavatory with the crew rest area. Electronic and entertainment offerings include DVD, VHS, CD players, multiple LCD screens, individual headphones at each seat, standard office equipment, satellite phones, plenty of power outlets, work tables, and a LAN connection is included as well. All of the electronics, lighting, and climate systems may be controlled from several different cabin locations.
